Penguins live in Antarctica, right? Well yes…but if you know where to look, you’ll find them waddling around in Africa too, and even squawking in Australia! They’re graceful and majestic, until they get on land. That’s when they need our help. From the noisy colony of Jackass penguins in Boulder Beach, South Africa, to the world’s smallest (and cutest) penguins down under, this is a tale of two adorable families and their unexpected protectors, be it the human kind or four legged friend. We’ll follow one penguin chick from each population, Australian and African, on their lifelong journeys from hatchling to hero, as they waddle, hop and belly flop their way to adulthood, looking for love and forming their own penguin families.
