OUR IMPACT
K2 Studios has been producing and distributing films that wow and educate at the same time for 25+ years. From wildlife and wild places to space and the universe, capturing the wonders of our ever-changing cosmos with the power of the giant screen has been our driving force.
Through our worldwide network of giant screen theater partners at science centers or museums, our films engage audiences of all ages in science topics, often augmenting museum exhibits and programs. The films are often highlights of school field trips, paired with complementary lesson plans to support teachers with meeting national science standards. Our releases have also been film festival favorites and have energized audiences in numerous community and impact screenings.
K2 Studios' films are graced by the presence and passion of science role models and communicators - from New York Times bestselling author Merlin Sheldrake, Artemis’ history-making astronaut Victor Glover, award-winning researcher and trailblazer Dr. Manuel de la Barca Sanchez, to ocean Wonder Women Sylvia Earl and Jess Cramp - our stars bring together communities and change the world, on and off screen.
